About the Film-Festival
Neurocinema is a Neurodivergent Film Festival that focuses on showcasing films created by or about neurodivergent individuals. Neurodivergence refers to variations in the human brain regarding sociability, learning, attention, mood, and other mental functions, often encompassing conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more.

The film festival aims to highlight neurodivergent voices, promote understanding, celebrate diversity, and foster a supportive community, thereby increasing awareness, breaking down stereotypes, and celebrating the creativity within the neurodivergent community.

Each day of the film-festival will highlight certain themes.

Neurodivergence
Neurodivergence refers to the natural variations in human brains, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyspraxia, Tourette syndrome, and other cognitive and neurological differences.
