The 13th edition of the European Meeting of Lusophone Youth

TEIA - Tecer a Inclusão: Identidades e Arte (“Weaving Inclusion: Identities and Art”), is a 9-day mobility for European youth workers and youth facilitators, organised by Cap Magellan.


This project aims to reinforce youth participation, foster social inclusion, to enhance the quality of socio-educational work through artistic, participatory and community-based approaches.


This mobility will take place in Covilhã, Portugal, from 1 to 9 August 2026, celebrating its cultural knowledge, public spaces, local creative practices, and positioning innovation across Europe.


The aims of the TEIA project are:

  • To develop the professional skills of youth workers, particularly in intercultural dialogue, creativity and building inclusive educational environments.

  • To promote youth participation from life paths, including youth belonging to minorities, young LGBTI+ and young neurodivergent.

  • Use art across subjects to explore identity, citizenship, and how people take part in society, ensuring everyone feels represented, included and able to participate.

  • This project is aimed at Lusophone young people aged 18-35, with artistic practice and/or a connection to the youth sector or European institutions. 


Participants are expected to be fluent in Portuguese.


Accommodation and meals are included, and travel costs are reimbursed in accordance with Erasmus+ Programme rules.
